A Note From Our Pastor
Welcome to 2019! This is our year! Our theme this year is Back to Basics. At this time of year we always seem to look forward to what is coming and what we need to do to be ready for what is coming. I believe if we are going to receive what God has for us, we need to go back to the first things. In Revelation 2:5, The Lord tells the church at Ephesus to ...repent and do the first works. Before we can reap the harvest we must do the “first things”. You have heard me say that we are responsible for sowing and God is responsible for the increase. I still believe that. I also know that the Bible tells us to pray the Lord of the harvest to send laborers to the field Matthew 9:38 and Luke 10:2. We must get back to the basics of asking God to do what only he can do, and not just when we need a miracle. I know that God wants to ... open the windows of heaven and pour out a blessing that we cannot contain. Malachi 3:10. We will make the basics of christian living our focal point this year.
For the first three months of 2019 we are asking that you chose a day to Pray and Fast for our churches. I know that God has incredible things in store for us this year. We are looking to April as a month of Revival and will have AJ and Amanda Holloway with us for that month. He will be preaching in our district on weekends but will be with us any available Wednesday and on Easter weekend. God told Solomon If my people pray, turn from their wicked ways, then he would hear from heaven. 2 Chronicles 7:14 I believe in what we are doing this year! We are beginning with prayer. For the next 12 weeks I want you to pray 3 things
As you pray, walk through the doors God opens for you. I believe in you! You can teach a Bible study. I believe in you! You can invite someone to church. I believe in you! God is going to use you in 2019!
I believe this is our year! We are going back to praying and fasting and we are expecting God to do incredible things. Don’t be afraid of what God is doing. Get involved with it. Who knows what can happen when we tap into prayer.
believing for a great 2019
